Born in Germany and raised between Germany and Hungary, Julian moved to the U.S. in 2009 after earning degrees in landscape architecture, biology, and horticulture.  He founded and successfully exited a landscape design firm before fully transitioning into real estate.

With over 20 years of real estate investing experience and more than a decade in brokering money, Julian brings a sharp eye for value and structure. He joined the MJI team to fuse his background in Real Estate, sales, and finance into a hands-on, client-focused approach.

Outside of work, Julian is an animal lover and lives an active, outdoors-oriented lifestyle.

Mat Calimpong was born and raised in Gilroy, CA, the Garlic Capital of the world. He moved to Arizona in 2009 to attend college at Arizona State University. While there, he achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Marketing and Communications.

Mat worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, which helped refine his customer service and interpersonal skills. He began his journey into the mortgage lending industry in 2023. It is there Mat found passion in the critical problem solving and collaboration utilized to bring solutions and success for the clients he has been able to work with.

Outside of his work, Mat indulges his passions for music and sports with concerts and sporting events. He also enjoys spending as much time around his family he grew up with as he can. Coming from a large Filipino family, Mat is one of over 60 grandchildren. He says that his cousins are some of his best friends and he communicates with many of them on a daily basis.

Ann Marie is a dedicated, results-driven Business Development Manager who knows how to get things done — and done well!  With years of experience under her belt, she’s known for solving problems, thinking strategically, and pitching in wherever she’s needed around the office.

When not busy at the office, you’ll probably find Ann Marie halfway across the world.  She’s a true travel enthusiast who’s checked off plenty of dream destinations, with many more adventures still waiting on her bucket list.  Ann Marie also treasures her fun times with her 5 amazing granddaughters.

Lara is a highly experienced Mortgage Loan Processor with over 25 years of expertise in interviewing clients, setting up loan submissions packages and coordinating closing processes. Proven ability to accurately assess the loan needs, as well as effectively communicate the loan process. Successfully collaborate with title companies and other mortgage professionals to ensure timely and efficient closings. She is experienced, detail oriented and dedicated to get your loan closed effectively and efficiently.
